Awarded to a business who has been in operation for more than three years and employs more than 25 employees. The judges will consider the size and particular condition of the business, as well as the profitability, growth, stability, job creation, investment strategy and quality, and customer service initiative. The judges also look at what specific activities the company has undertaken to improve and maintain a high level of concern and commitment to positive employee relations as well as the impact of the company on the economy of Lloydminster & area.
(Until 2002 when the Small Business of the Year award was added, the recipients of this award may have been businesses with less than 25 employees.)
