Alistair Starke has made it to the third round of voting!

For those of you who have been living under a rock, here is a recap:  Last November, ING and Speed Skate Canada announced the ING Speed Skating Challenge.  Skaters from across the country were invited to submit their favorite speed skating story in video format.  Last week Border Blades' own Alastair Starke was named as one of the top eight finalists for the title of "Canada's Best Speed Skating Story."  The winning video receives $5,000 for their club!

The next step in the process is an on-line voting process-one vote per email address.  For those of you that have already cast your vote in the first or second round of voting you may vote again (once only) in the third round which has already begun.

To place your vote, go to www.ingspeedskatingchallenge.com watch the "Durness Oval Story" and vote by dragging the maple leaf to the video of your choice.

MARCH MIXER ANNOUNCEMENT

   In regard to our upcoming After Hours Mixer on March 12th, please make a mental note of the following change:

In contrast to previous mixers which normally begin at 4:30pm, the March mixer (held at the new Synergy Personal Banking Centre) will start at 5:15pm.  Please make this change on your calendars.
