The students and residents of Kitscoty invite you to HELP IMPLEMENT CHANGES TO THE JUNCTION OF HIGHWAY 16 AND HIGHWAY 897

A petition regarding the precarious intersection of Highways 16 and 897 near Kitscoty is available for anyone interested in signing at the Chamber office.

The petition will be forwarded to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta urging the following changes: About safety signage and overpass.

Surveillance and Crime Prevention Seminar

The Lloydminster Chamber of Commerce & Streetscapes Co. will be sponsoring this seminar which takes place at 11:30 am – 1:30 pm West Harvest Inn

Break & Enter, Theft, Armed Robberies, have been in the news more and more lately. How do businesses protect themselves from this criminal activity? One effective tool that assists the RCMP to identify and apprehend individuals who participate in this type of criminal activity is a surveillance system.

This seminar will provide information from both the RCMP and a local individual who
specializes in surveillance systems. Learn about what types of systems are available, how they can be strategically used to deter this type of crime as well as identify and help police to make arrests if this type of criminal activity should be happening at your place of business.

Cost for this seminar is $30.00 plus GST and lunch will be provided

NAME THAT LOGO CONTEST BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND

Due to popular demand the Chamber Logo Contest has returned. This promotion will run as a contest through The Lloydminster Source in which readers must identify different parts of members' business logos. Participants must identify as many logos as they can and submit their entry form to the Chamber. The Chamber staff will then determine the winner of “The Ultimate Christmas Gift” (to be determined) valued at $1000! There will be a 2nd place prize of $250 as well...

Travel Alberta Kiosk - Members Can Promote Your Business

Anyone wishing to promote their business at the Travel Alberta Visitor Centre this year, we still have some kiosk display space available for the summer. This space is available to rent on a weekly or monthly basis.

Any business in the hotel and tourism/hospitality industries would qualify for these kiosks.

Operates annually from the May long week-end to Sept long week-end.
9:00 am to 5:00 pm 7 days a week.
