Service With A Smile

The “Service With A Smile” customer service recognition program will recognize those Chamber Member individuals or businesses/organizations who have been nominated for providing a first class customer service experience. Nominations will be received from the general public and each month all of the nominees will be recognized in the newspaper and on the Chamber of Commerce website. In addition, all nominees will have their names entered into a draw for a cash prize that will be given out at the Chamber AGM each year.

Nominations can be received by telephone (780-875-9013) or email or by going to the Chamber website and printing off a nomination form that can be emailed or mailed. Alternatively,  you can fill out the web form below.

Chamber Member businesses are encouraged to display a Premium Customer Service Experience poster in their business to encourage their patrons to consider nominations if they receive a first-class customer service experience. Posters are available by request.

Remember: You can nominate an individual OR a business/organization. Don’t let a deserving business or individual go unnoticed, send us your nominations today! After all, we all want “Service With A Smile”.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • The program will run as an annual 12-month duration beginning in January and closing in December.
  • Maximum of one employee per business may qualify as a recipient every six months (eg. John Doe can qualify a maximum of two times per year for the grand prize draw)
  • A business or organization may qualify as a recipient once every six months (maximum two times per year)
  • An individual or business can be nominated more than once per month, however, that nominee’s name will be entered into the draw once only (eg. if John Doe receives 50 nominations, he will qualify as one entry in the draw, not 50).
  • A business/organization may not nominate their own employees
  • Monthly nominees will be revealed in the Chamber e-newsletter as well as in the Meridian Booster (advertisement by the promotional sponsor)
  • Monthly nominees will be entered into a draw at the end of the year for a Grand prize to be awarded at the yearly AGM in March
  • The grand prize recipient will be chosen by random draw from all nominees after all nominations have been submitted at the end of the year; the recipient will be awarded the grand prize to be presented at the AGM (nominees do not have to be present to win the prize)
  • Nominated businesses must be a current Chamber member in good standing to qualify for the draw
  • Business or employee must be a current Chamber member in good standing to qualify as a nominee
